Rising Star Travel Award

The Canadian National Proteomics Network (CNPN) is offering travel awards to attend CNPN 2026 taking place in Quebec city, QC, from May 4–6, 2026. Each award provides $500 CAD to support travel expenses.

Who can apply?

Applicants must meet the following criteria: 

  • CNPN member
  • Undergraduate, graduate student, post-doctoral researcher or early career researcher*
  • Submitted an abstract for CNPN 2026 (poster or talk)

*Early career researchers are defined as researchers within 6 years of the date of their first independent research-related appointment, taking in account eligible leaves (e.g. parental leave).

What’s the selection criteria?

To apply for the award, please submit the following information as one (1) pdf document:
  1. Half page statement on value of attending CNPN 2026
  2. Submitted abstract
  3. Confirmation of registration to CNPN 2026 symposium AND pre-symposium
