Rising Star Travel Award

CNPN is partnering with US HUPO to offer a travel award to attend US HUPO 2025 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, February 22-26th, 2025. The award includes complementary registration from US-HUPO and up to $1000 USD for travel expenses.

Who can apply?

Candidates who meet the follow criteria may apply:

  • CNPN member
  • Graduate student, post-doctoral researcher or early career researcher*
  • Submitted an abstract for US-HUPO (poster or talk)

*Early career researchers are defined as researchers within 6 years of the date of their first independent research-related appointment, taking in account eligible leaves (e.g. parental leave).

What’s the selection criteria?

To apply for the award, please submit the following information as one (1) pdf document:

  1. Half page statement on value of attending US-HUPO
  2. Submitted abstract 
  3. Confirmation of registration to US-HUPO
