Hotel and Travel Information

hotelThe hotel is NOT included in the registration fee, and participants should directly reserve their hotel rooms. We have arranged rates with the Hotel Manoir Victoria in Old Québec city closely located to the Conference place (Salle des Promotions du Séminaire de Québec - 20 rue Port-Dauphine).

We can offer an open group rate of $159 (Standard/Supérieur) or $185 (Deluxe/Grand Deluxe) per night before taxes at the Hotel Manoir Victoria located on 44, Côte du Palais, Québec, QC G1R 4H8. Booking should be made using this link:

accomodation This rate will only be available until the hotel is sold out. We therefore strongly encourage you to book your room as early as possible. Additional nights on May 5th or 9th are available at the same rate, as long as the hotel is not sold out. The hotel will not coordinate any room sharing, which can be arranged among participants, if desired.

Travel and Venue

  • By air: The Québec airport (aéroport international Jean Lesage – YQB) is located at 17km from Old Québec city. The taxi fare from airport to Old Quebec City is approximately $35.
  • By car: The closest public parking to the conference location is 8 min walk: SPAQ Hotel de Ville -29 Côte de la Fabrique, Québec, QC G1R 5M1. However, those having a room at Manoir Victoria can get a special rate (17$/day + taxes) in the indoor parking of the hotel.
  • By train or bus: The Via Rail station and Orléans Express bus station are 5 min drive, 13 min walk, from the conference location (Gare du Palais - 450 rue de la Gare du Palais, Québec, QC, G1K 3X2)
